Invisalign seems to be slow
I have only three aligners left. I was on a 14 day cycle and when I'm done will have worn the aligners for a year. I have 21 lower 11 upper. I started the aligners last summer, and I didn't notice ANY change at all until early January I believe. Since early January I haven't noticed anymore changes. I just noiced that one big change and nothing has changed since. I'm wearing the aligners to correct an edge to edge bite and crossbite. Again I only have 3 aligners left, and while my bite isn't completely edge to edge anymore, my bottom teeth still clank against the top and I still have a crossbite. Is it normal to only notice one big change? I'm assuming not. Also how long do people usually wear refinements?
Part of my treatment is to correct a crossbite but I found that my upper molars and premolars haven't moved as much as expected based on the clincheck. Maybe the same thing is happening with you. Have you taken pictures along the way for comparison? I usually take pictures every 2 weeks to document my progress for myself.

Hi there,
I agree, pictures often show movements that you weren't aware were happening. I have felt at times that my teeth weren't moving but the pictures show me that there has been progress.
Have you asked your ortho about whether your teeth are tracking with your clincheck and whether they expect you to need refinements at the end of your first set? My ortho is doing my teeth in phases so there will definitely be a need for refinements in my case, although the tops seem to be lining up nicely.
Are you teeth still fitting into your aligners correctly? I ask only because sometimes when people's teeth aren't moving as expected they get gaps between their teeth and trays.
