Hello all - I'm new here so I hope someone / anyone can help!
I'm seriously thinking of getting lingual braces. I was going ahead with invisalign treatment (all xrays moulds etc) until the last minute (and £600 later!) my dentist told me invisalign would'nt correct the natural line of symmetry in my top teeth. Had left canine removed and top teeth veer left, apprx 4mm off line
Anyway, I really want to get my teeth as straight (and symmetrical) as possible. BUT the big but is the cost. I really don't want to spend 10k ... invisialign was going to be 4k so ideally I would want to spend up to 7k.
Can anyone tell me how much they paid (in/round london) for both arches lingual in total and where they went ??
Im just researching costs so I dont end up going to the wrong place!
The clinics want you to pay for a consulation and then they'll give you a fee plan - but if I go to 10 initial consultations at £100 each, Im already 1k down...ooh its expensive business this!
Thanks!

Hi, I have upper and lower Incognito braces. Treatment time is two years and costs £7,500 - I think this includes retainers and post brace check-ups. I'm being treated just outside SW London and am extremely happy with treatment received, the braces themselves and total cost based on the 5 months so far.

Linguals cannot correct fine details? Do you know what brand your ortho thought this was the case with- IBraces / Incognito advertises as doing everything conventional braces can do to the same standard or better. My ortho thinks IBraces / Incognito are better in the finishing stages than traditional.

I don't know really - I did not ask more as it seemed that he did not like to use lingual braces for my case and that's the reason. Eventually I went for Ice Braces but not with this orthodontist.rolo wrote:Linguals cannot correct fine details?
