I know what you mean. I had a dream 2 or 3 nights ago where I went in for an adjustment and my ortho pulled 12 of my teeth! In real life, I am due to be debonded next month so in the dream I was frantc, thinking that this would prolong my treatment because it would take forever to close all those gaps and I was so mad at my ortho for not telling me sooner that this was going to happen!

I think this is just an overexaggeration on what has really been happening. My treatment time has been extended a few months, as I was originally slated to get them off at the beginning of April. I sort of feel like my ortho wasn't keeping me very up to date on what is/was going on with my treatment and he kept telling me I would be getting them off, only to tell me the month before that I wasn't. I am still really worried that I will go in on my debond date (June 11) and he will change his mind again!

But YES, it was a HUGE relief to wake up and know that it was only a dream!

I dreamt that my top front tooth was rotated and loose and then it fell out! It made a "plop" like sound as it just tore right out of the gums and I was surprised at how big the tooth was! And then another tooth (a molar) popped out as well, and this one was all crown, it was devoid of roots and the underside was rotten. Later on in my dream I was examing my two teeth that had fallen out and they were huge--about the size of a cat. It was kind of an Alice In Wonderland effect. I think it is symbolic of what is going on in my mind--I've been thinking about and obsessing over my teeth for the past several months since I've started looking into getting braces. The focus on teeth has become magnified in my mind--hence the larger-than-life teeth that appeared in my dream.
Age 23. Midline off by 5mm, lots of crowding, and a tooth on top of a tooth.

I had a dream like this too! Except my teeth didnt fall out but rather disintigrated. In my dream I has one of thos scraping the dentist has, and I was scraping a molar and it started to crumble like talc, and then all the res of my teeth started breaking and crumbling. Was nightmarish...

I've recently had a dream that my teeth were falling out -- along with my brackets of course. Even worse -- in the dream pieces of my jawbone was crumbling apart --- and because of this my face was loosing all structural support -- and my face started sagging -- kinda like something melting --- soooo weird. But in the dream my only concern was all the money I had spent only for my face to fall apart.
