hi everywun. i'm 20 year old and i got braces about 1 and a half month ago
i noticed some progress so i made these pics. what do you think?
i will get my lower braces in about 4 months. i dont have bad teeth on my lower arch, but i have a deep bite that has to be corrected.
Great progress, haywire! It looks like we have similar issues to correct and I'll be starting my journey soon, so it's encouraging to see your teeth moving so fast! Thanks so much for posting pics!
Re wisdom teeth, I had 3 out at once a number of years ago, and while sitting there for a couple of hours enduring the process wasn't much fun, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. The biggest issue I had was trying to keep the extraction holes clean until they healed over, but the pain was less than I expected. Good luck and fingers crossed!!
Second adjustment today, almost 2 months in braces
not a big progress since the last time i posted, but now i have elastics on my brackets ( first time i had something else as you can see in the first pics )
oh, hey I responded to your other thread so I hopped on over to look at this one. I have to say, I think your deep bite was caused by the same thing mine was... my front teeth were "retro-inclined" and thus pushed back my lower jaw too much!
At least you didn't get TMJ disorder as a result... ugh.

You can google it, but to put it simply, it's a messed up jaw joint. My bottom jaw went to the wrong spot when I chewed and stuff because my teeth weren't aligned correctly. Years of that pushed out the cartilage from one of my jaw joints and it locked up on me, prompting me to get treatment... which eventually included braces.

Just wanted to drop by to say that the changes you've had in such a short time are truly amazing. This is going fast ! Good luck on the journey, and keep us updated!
