Well I'm braced :D The whole process was great, that sticky stuff they put on your teeth to take off the shine was awful but apart from that everything else went fine. I got on top the Innovation-C, Clear braces and metal on bottom. I came out of the office feeling very proud of myself and not in much pain. That was 2 hours ago, now I am aching :( Once again I'm eating Jello and boy the cold jello is so nice and soothing in my mouth. Going to take some painkillers after I eat and then try and get some rest.

It isn't too bad talking, they definitely feel much bigger than what they look. My son didn't even notice them as I spoke to him!!! I had to give him a big smile before he saw all my lovely metal in my mouth.

I will take some pictures later and post them.

2 years to go...

Here is a formal congratulation to Emms! I so feel your pain with the lowers. I hope things are starting to look up for you. Also, take lots of drugs!

This is the only time I would encourage drug use by the way... :D

Soup is awesome too. It makes me feel all warm inside and stops my gums from aching momentarily.

Good luck and best brushing!!! :)

EMMs...your braces look great! I am getting the damon ones that are half clear and i'm a little jealous of your all clear ones. They stopped offering the ceramic brackets at my ortho's office because they said they've had such good luck with the damon's that they just are going to use those. Hopefully they are going to be fast on me!

I'm chewing up my gum (I know...no no's for us tmj'ers), so I can get rid of it before I get my braces on on friday. still getting nervous, but i'm trying to do things to take my mind off of it! I'll let you know how it goes!
