Has anyone had this to shorten the face even if you dont have a bite problem or gummy smile?
I just have what appears to be a long face look
I believe it is due to my long upper jaw

I had surgery on both my jaws to correct my bite. I had a 2nd operation to correct a relapse, and I believe they removed some bone from my top jaw to do this.

If it wasn't for the doctors telling me this, I wouldn't have known otherwise.

This is your 4th thread at at least asking the same exact question, you're becoming a troll and it's annoying when so many people have answered your questions.

Look.

I've read your posts. You're concerned about a long face, though you do not show any gum when smiling. There a few possibilities:

1. Your face may be long from glabella to subnasale, in which case your face will always look long, as this area cannot be shortened surgically.

2. Your maxilla and upper lip may both be long. Vertical maxillary reduction would fix this but you would probably need a lip lift after or you would have no upper tooth show. Lefort+lip lift is very effective in shortening the distance between nose and upper lip.

3. The issue could be with narrowness of the face rather than length, which would be solved with malar and jaw implants.

4. Your chin maybe vertically long.

Which of these is it? If you can show pics I can tell you.
