upper Ibraces put on Tuesday

Wow! what a difference between the lower and upper. The lowers were no problems with speech and no pain. With the uppers, my teeth hurt and speech is difficult especially with the s's. Having the uppers on are a little more uncomfortable. Will this get better? or am I stuck with this feeling for the next 18 months?
