My Ortho sees me every 8 -10 weeks. He does the IPR when I see him even if they are supposed to be done in 8 weeks time.
Is this normal!! As my previous post suggests, one attatchment is now not alligning properly.
What can be done abou this, I'm not happy, but does everyone else have this.l
I have overcrowding so a fair bit of IPR needs doing!

Hi.
I see my ortho every 6 weeks and get IPR every time. The aligner packest show when IPR is needed but the ortho will need to do it all at once for all the aligners they are giving you before they see you next. If you don't get the IPR before it is needed for that aligner your teeth won't move right I guess. Can't see it makes a difference if the IPR is early or not. I think they could do the whole lot of IPR in one go but choose not to because it would give you noticeable gaps between your teeth.
If an attachment isn't tracking your aligner call your ortho to see them ASAP. I had this and had to jump back a few aligners and get more IPR because it got stuck behind the tooth next to it.
