How far is ur ortho office from where u live? It will help me decide on choosing ortho..

2 minute walk from work. 4 minute drive from home.

My ortho is 15 minutes from work and 20 minutes from home. I consulted with two ortho's and after liking both decided to go with the one closest to my home and work. Distance certainly wasn't the most important factor in my decision, but it was near the top. It also helped that the closer ortho was less expensive.

I went to the ortho that my dentist recommended.
04/09/09- Consult, 04/21/09- Spacers in, 04/23/09- Braces on, 06/01/09- Extractions
06/25/09- First Adjustment (new wire, but same size- all the way to bck molars- after extractions)
08/20/09- Second adjustment (same size wire but got Powerchains top and bottom!!!)
10/02/09- 3rd adj (same size wire, new powerchain, started elastics)
12/10/09- 4th adj. (same size wire, new powerchain, same elastics)
02/11/10- 5th adj.

235 miles - 4 hours .
(and I know she also has some even further away).

Anybody here beat me? :D
34 y/o guy with full metal brackets and molar bands since 12/16/2009.
1st Adjustment + secondary molar bands 1/23/2010.
2nd Adjustment 3/27/2010.
3rd Adjustment 5/1/2010.
4th Adjustment 6/11/2010.
5th Adjustment 9/29/2010.
6th Adjustment 2/8/2011.
