What a way to start treatment... dissapointing
After 5 orthodontist , i finally found the ortho that i was comfortable with. I spent months doing research waiting for his appointment , did insurance research like crazy and finally when i got closer to go ahead with the treatment, the ortho office informed me that he was not going to continue with ibraces anymore. He was not going to pursue ibraces in his profession. I was shocked, sad and disspoainted and discouraged... I am so tired of my ugly bite... i finally have the money to do it and it never seems to go my way.....

Maybe he won't be doing iBraces anymore, but can he do "regular" lingual braces? An orthodontist who knows what he/she is doing can work with a variety of brackets. You may also want to ask why they're not continuing with iBraces. Was it a business decision or a clinical decision?
I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
There could be alot of reasons why the doc doesnt do ibraces anymore. Perhaps he doesnt want to work on the lingual side anymore (it is harder for the doc) or pay the lab fees, etc. The point that stood out for me was you said 'did the insurance research' If the doc is taking a discounted plan it may not be possible for him to take on your case without losing money d/t the high lab fees, extra chair time, etc with lingual braces. This may not be the case here but it is something to be aware of.
