hope those gaps are closing for you. Mine were all created by my last adjustment--now I have a power chain also, but one isn't closing yet. Hopefully it will soon.

I have my next adjustment on monday, so hopefully a new powerchain will be added to close the one 2 gaps that remain

Well i bring big news!
I'm nearly done with braces

thats 10 months earlier than i thought i'd be hearing about a debanding date and i'm told i'm on the home stretch!

I had my 5th adjustment, we were late because my mum forgot i had an appt, but he still saw me. Changed the wires on the bottom and added an extra few links to the power chain to close all the big big gaps, and then said "we're nearly done here, only slightly longer" i was like omg!

I'm actually not bothered how much longer i wait till i get them off, cos its going to be much less than i originally thought! I'm back on April 7th

I know! I'm so happy

I know i have probably a few months left to like, close these big gaps and then to settle everything, but whats a few months compared to 10/11 months?

This adjustment hasnt really caused any pain just discomfort, but it's cool, my happiness has taken over that

Your teeth moved SO quickly! And SURPRISE!!! They're BEAUTIFUL!!!

Wow, I'm so happy for you!

And don't worry too much about the gaps, they drastically improve in the last few months of braces, after your orthos officially decide where they want each tooth to land! So far, though, it looks like they're doing a great job!

I can hardly wait now! I'm hoping these gaps get a slight move on so that when i go back in April we're even closer to the end!! Though so far they don't seem to be budging a great deal

But i'm so happy, i cant wait to get them off and be able to proudly smile for all photos just like the rest of the world! I've already decided i like the look of them now and soon they're going to be perfect, something i never dreamed they would be!

These gaps still arent having any of it with closing up, i'm practically begging them everyday to get a move on!
In a few days it'll be 7 months since i got my uppers!

I had my 2nd ever disgusted person with my braces, this guy was chatting to me for ages then went "wait, do you havem BRACES? how OLD are you?" which really upset me, i just told him to leave me alone if my braces offended him that much...

yessss the gap on the right hand side has practically closed, it has the tiniest space between it now! Come on monster gap on the left! Only 27 days left to move before my next adjustment

There has been movement though, its just not dramatic.

its so exciting when my gaps close, i cannot wait till i go back next to see what he says!

I dream of the day I can get these things off, although, I have became quite fond of them.

Wow!!! That guy was so rude! It's just a little metal. A selected few who've never had braces, or don't want braces can be so shallow...

Yesterday was the official "half way point" for my lower braces, 9 months down, maybe 9 to go. However i'm hoping they're off much sooner!

Not long till my next adjustment, but i remembered its on a weds this time round and i work wednesdays, so i'm going to have to try and get the whole day off, since i live about an hour or so away from my ortho.

I cant believe how fast time has gone, to anyone thinking of getting braces, so do it, you will never regret it, i just cant wait to see my new smile

The first pictures in aaages. Honestly its because there hasnt been any changes worth noticing
The pics are still poor, in 9 months i still havent figured out my camera, the shame
I always dislike the pictures of just my teeth cos they look so much nicer as part of my whole face, not as a main entity hahaha
I'm not sure how the picture sizes are going to come out, so apologies or not...
