any one try the non-surgical route first

#1 Post by bracesscared »

Any one went through extractions and opted for the non-surgical route first. If yes, Later on after several year, when you did decide to have the surgery how did ur ortho prep you for surgery? Did those past extractions need implants or did the ortho had to flare ur teeth back to the original bad bite position. Please help

I did, but the first treatment did not involve extractions, so I'm not sure whether I can help you here.

I did with braces my irtho thought they could fix my teeth and jaw with braces.. I had braces for a number of years but I should have been done by now if I did surgery early and had braces.. but Im Ok now recovering from my jaw surgery.. and I have no hard feelings towards my first orthodontists. everything happens for a reason.

I did. It was a waste of time and money. Now I've got to actually fix the problem.
