Yesterday was my first time getting my teeth cleaned and the hygentist answered all of my answers. I asked questions reguarding cleaning my tongue, wisdom teeth ect. The hygentist was great! I have absoutely no complaints. They said my teeth were in good condition!
March 15th
This month I was sure that I would be getting powerchains put on and I was correct. As I sat in the chair Dr. F came over and checked my bite which doesn't meet correctly on the left side and decided that it was time to close up my gaps. My questions is gaps where? I have so many, I hope that these power chains work fast. I also recieved new wires. The hygenist (I guess) had a hard time closing my brackets around my larger wires and my teeth were already starting to feel the pain from the new powerchains. She was opening, closing and shoving the wire into the brackets. Finally she finished and I was out the door. When I got back to work I decided to check my new wires out in the mirror and I noticed the my two front teeth slam into my lower brackets everytime I close my mouth.
I called the dentist office and told them about the problem and I was told to come back as soon as I could. Thank God that I work around the corner from my orthos office 
! Anyway, they gave me a bite guard to wear until I get use to the new placement of my teeth. Smh.... I was still in pain, I needed something that wouldn't let my teeth touch at all. My first night I was in pain, I ate rice for dinner and I could barely talk. The following day, I ate soft fruit, oatmeal, and for dinner I ate some chicken. Finally four days later I can go the day without my bite guard but I still wear it at night cause I talk in my sleep. My teeth have shifted so fast with these new wires. All of my molars feel like they have moved forward! Hopefully, next i will have some rubberbands to fix the alignment on my left side. Next month will make one year. Oh my time has flown by.
