Snorkelling...

#1 Post by BecStar »

...What do we think!? Is this likely to be possible with lingual braces?? I have a few months yet until I need to worry about it, and given that I am still feeling rather tender on day 3 I have not tried stuffing the mouthpiece in there yet! But I am hoping once the pain dies down it wont be a major problem... anyone have any experience of this!?x

I went snorkeling with them, and it was fine. You have to clench your teeth a bit to keep the mouthpiece in so I'd wait until your teeth are no longer sore. Since you have a few months, you should do well. Just try not to have an adjustment right before your trip because your teeth are usually sore for a couple of days after. Have fun!
