progress impressions

my orthodontist done impressions on me today, does that usually mean surgery is coming close? and did anyone here get impresssions before thier surgery?...............

btw the stuuff they use is really gross!

I had impressions taken a few times before they told me I was ready for surgery. It was annoying when I had them taken with the braces on as they were annoying to get off.

No, it doesn't always mean surgery is close.

My ortho did that just so he could get a better idea where to move some brackets.

i only got impressions before i put my braces and right before the surgery.. hoppefuly you are getting close to your surgery

yeah ive been in braces for over 2 years and only got them before my braces got put on and now...........................................................
