what kind of braces do you have? just regular metal? I am so amazed at your progress, I have extractions so they have some more to go I hope mine move faster!

kinda dissapointed because my upper molar didn't straighten almost at all, i think i need a stronger elastic

oook so long time no posting..

today i finally got my build ups remove and now i can eat normal

not much of a progress since the list time i posted, except that my m2 molars finally straighten up and i don't have to wear that elastic anymore

question

i have an overjet and i'm probably gonna have to wear elastics some time, to pull back my upper arch and the lower in the front, but when will i start wearing them? at wich point of the treatment? why not .. now ?

I've had elastics in various configurations since about 6 months into treatment to correct various bite issues. Since my situation is very different (I have no overjet), I can't comment on your situation. However, I wanted to say that you have made excellent progress in such a short time period...they're looking great!

forgot to mention : i had one wisdom tooth extracted (didnt hurt at all btw) and this month i'm gonna have the lower one too, with surgery needed

8th adjustmenet today, new wire for the lowers, and one answer to the question "why my lower move so slow"

well, having such small lower teeth, plague has got between them, and they where practicly glued together with plague. my ortho did some stripping to clear the plague, and told me to buy dental floss and use it every day (which i will do, and i suggest you do the same)

9th adj today, new wire on the uppers (16 x 22 - how thick is that?), pretty much nothing changed in my teeth since the list time i posted

wow, i'm enjoying reading this thread, i'm not braced yet, but i have an overbite (still unsure about all the terms etc)

i'll keep watching this thread and i'll be posting pics when i finally get braced, later on in the year:) good work so far

great news! had the 11th adjustment today and my doc gave me class II elastics to fix my bite and she said that now i'm in the final stage of the treatment

so happy
