So, my ortho calls me today and says Invisalign are recommending I have 28 more alligners.
My ortho says he has contacted them to say no, do it in 8 or 10. Can he do this? Surely if I need 28 I neeeed 28. Not that I want 28!!!!
My ortho went a bit mental with the IPR before he took impressions to send of for refinements, could this be it.
I want this to end!!!
Refinements 28!!

Hey Pom
This is the first time I've clicked on your blog so I saw your CC videos from last year. I have to say that the final results look great in the videos, but the movements that have been asked for are extremely difficult to achieve. There is very little "grip" on the back teeth due to their shape, and the video shows them being distalized one at a time. Imagine trying to push a can that is sitting on the table straight back, but only being allowed to touch the can at a tangent.
Speak to your orthodontist about your concerns and make sure your results are achievable. To go from 28 aligners to 10 will just speed up the movements, unless he/she is going for a different end result.
That being said, your malocclusion is one that can be resolved using Invisalign, if all the movements are planned properly. Good luck!
