LUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUVLUV THEM!!!! Like hal2me, best decision I never made. I did have full metal up until a month or so ago, then switched out the top ones to ceramic. Because I now have to wear ligs, it's added incentive to keep my teeth squeaky clean so they won't stai so bad (the ligs, not the brackets).

I absolutely love my ceramics. I have them for my uppers and if I could have gotten them for the lower row I would have but I have an overbite and my ortho said I would chip my teeth if they knocked on ceramic bottoms.

Also, and I'm not certain this is due completely to the fact that they are ceramics, but I had my uppers put in about 2 months before my lowers. The uppers were a breeze, hardly any pain or discomfort. The lowers were a nightmare. My ortho informed me that the common feedback is that the lower row always hurts more but I'm not sure if that is due to the material of the brackets.

I hated them at first. They just felt so big and bulky comared against the metal on the lowers. It took a bit to get adjusted to them so I wasn't consumed with my teeth 24/7. I must admit in pictures they are a plus because you can't notice them. I have slowly grown to like them.

I have ceramic on top and metal on bottom. I really prefer the ceramic. I think they look better and feel better. :)

I have them on upper and lower, and I love them. The ortho did have to replace one of the lower brackets with a metal one (because it doesn't stick out as much and I have an overbite), but that was only after I bit the ceramic one off lol

I love that I can be in pictures with my family and not look like a total metal mouth. My son and I went to France and Spain in June, and I am really happy with how the pictures came out :D

I love me ceramics but because of the cost I think I would have been better off financially with going with full metal. I would have saved so much money since everything has been out of pocket for my ortho care.

I really like my ceramic uppers - they don't show much in photos or from a distance. The only reason I second-guess getting them is that they don't move the teeth as quickly. It will probably add 2-4 months to my treatment.
