I do it alot and need to stop doing it. I am sure folks who or are doing it to me as well. I feel much better that I am trying to correct things with the braces.

yep, i'm pretty good at spotting off midlines now.
Pay attention to commercials...the lady that does the satelite internet commercial has an off upper midline. I never noticed that kind of stuff before, never knew my own midline was off till an ortho pointed it out.

I was before and now even more!!!

Plus because I am a foreigner I tend to also look at people's mouth to understand better. Gives me an excuse to stare at their teeth :P

Lately I found myself saying "Yep, this one is a good candidate for braces and so is this one and this one and this one..."

I am completely obsessed! And I've noticed people with beautiful straight teeth look like they've had them whitened, and people with crooked teeth tend to hide them. In fact, the only crooked teeth I've really been able to see well are on the people who have shown me after they see my braces and say they've been thinking about getting them.

I myself cannot wait to get mine whitened after they are perfect!

I do the same thing, and I told my friend I can't help it! It's like since I'm fixing something about my teeth all I can focus on is what's messed up about other people's teeth and that's terrible. It's just what happens though..and I'm glad I'm not the only one.. I was beginning to feel a little strange lol.

I always used to think everyone has perfect teeth. Now I am starting to realize that MOST people's teeth actually aren't perfect! The majority of people do have minor imperfections. I probably knew this already but never really thought about it, if that makes sense.

I'm not in braces, but since wanting to get braced I have become somewhat obsessed with my own teeth (and oral hygiene) as well as others.

I have also found myself looking at others teeth on the telly and in person. If in person, I don't make it obvious though, as I think that's rude.
If I am at home in the morning, I sometimes watch The Jeremy Kyle show (this is a UK show, a bit like Jerry Springer show in the US) and most of the people who go on there have poor teeth, most have some missing (mainly the front ones) and some look really unclean, like seriously decaying and horrid :(. I always comment to my mum about it now, where as before I just thought "oh dear" lol. So I am not only looking to see if someone has crooked/straight teeth, I look to see if any are missing and if they are in bad condition... and the ones on the Jeremy Kyle show are normally in a pretty bad state
Braces: Metal fixed upper and lower
