New pain in jaw

I'm nearly 10 weeks post-op now from upper and lower with palate expansion. I'm having the lower-right plate removed in 2 weeks as it's infected/rejecting.

I woke this morning with a horrible pain in my chin on the left side (not the infected side) Could it be possible my plate is rejecting the other side too?

I wonder if my surgeon will just remove both plates if I ask him to. I'm just hoping this pain is nerve regeneration. It particularly hurts if I tense my chin or open my mouth/drink/eat etc.

bring that up to your surgeon and see what he suggests. hopefully that side isn't rejecting or infected either!
