We just found out we are expecting baby #2!
I know it's not harmful to use while pg, so I'm not worried about that. But I am worried about having them out more to eat more frequent meals or snacks, etc. With our first I had to drink ginger ale or snack on ginger snaps seemingly constantly, so that could be a problem. I'm also hoping that I don't have major morning sickness - I didn't have it bad with the first, so hopefully it'll follow. I can't imagine getting sick with them in!
I've also heard that your teeth move faster while pregnant due to connective tissues being looser, etc. - is this true?
I am waiting for new trays (mid course correction) and I had 5 trays left (on top, 2 on bottom) but I'm guessing I'll have more now. I just hope I'm done with them and onto retainers by the time this baby arrives!
Anyone here ever been pg while having invisalign or clear aligners?

In the UK pregnant women get totally free dental treatment during the pregnancy and for a year after the birth because of what pregnancy can do to your teeth (Something to do with all the hormones I think).
You should call your ortho as soon as possible if you haven't already, no doubt he's experienced this situation before.
Good luck with your treatment and with baby #2

Thanks for the reply - unfortunately this little bean decided it didn't want to stick.
I do know that the concern while pg has something to do with the increased blood flow, hormones, etc that cause a lot of pg women then to bleed when they brush or get some level of gingivitis while pg.
We don't get free dental treatment while pg, and I had no issues with gum bleeding or gingivitis with my last pg, so I'm hoping for the same with another.
I did ask the ob/gyn about teeth moving and he said that it made sense that they would move faster/easier while pregnant due to all of your connective tissues loosening up for the pregnancy/birth (all the reproductive areas).
Hopefully we'll get pg again soon and can find out!
