What are these hooks for?

#1 Post by BraceFaceeee »

My orthodontist has put some hook type of things on my top teeth and bottom teeth, in total there is 4 of them.

She didn't tell me specifically what they are but i'm unsure what they are for and I don't think they are for elastics?

Help? :)

I hear that elastics give big, big results with the bite, and pretty quickly, too. I have hooked brackets and an overbite, so I think they're in my future, too!

Haha, elastics! Don't worry, as long as you don't try to shout with them in your mouth, you won't notice them much :D

Elastics, or powerchains. I have metal coil ones attached to those hooks.
