people started noticing that i dont have my "Famous" canine on display

but some men have expressed their sorry for it..it seems it distingueshed me somehow...

i noticed i now have an overjet, that i didnt have begore...
it it rather large, at the beggining i could brak off my brackets on my lowers if i wasnt carefull, now my uppers hang out 2 mm in front of them, i hav eto try hard to touch the lower brackets..

any ideea how will they fix it?
maybe it comes along with closing spaces? with that powechain?

ill be back with pics of it..

as i complained at my last visit that i cant see any obvious changes lately...she said i will soon...


so here i go:

my molars have started comming towards the front, to the spaces left by the extracted ones..... uppers and lowers..

when she put the last wire, she made some loop thing just between my last molar and the middle one..
she said it will work wonders...and now it does... i barely could use floss between my molars at the beggining...
now i can clean the spaces with the inter dental brush...the middle size gorgeaus...


now i wonder, is this the first stage of closing gaps?

she told me we are leveling now, and that the canines have to move backword a little, creating space between them and my laterals...


anyone knows this?

thank you..i was hoping i'd be lucky to skip this step...
since my bite is very well alingned otherwise... it was a lot worse before braces but after my teeth started moving it got almost perfect...all my teeth are now touching correctly, despite my bulid ups...

my lowers were a lot slanted towards my tongue... now they are a lot better and i guess they will get even better..

i guess i'm in the "it looks worst before it gets better" time frame..
I dislike my smile more then i did when i started...i have gaps all over the place... and the one tooth that was straight i now croked and
the canine that was really croked is almost near my molars, leaving a big big gap ...
now i have more a "social 4" then 6 .... the canines dont show when i smile... instead i show 2 gasp

I know how you feel. The gaps are driving me crazy too. They seem to be getting bigger. I think my ortho said she was gonna use elastics at some point on my teeth, and she's always sticking powerchains on. I know it can take ages to close gaps...I just hope its before my 90th birthday!

thatk you for your thoughts, Jay04... i know it is supposed to be like this but it doesnt stop me from dislikeing it

i went in today as an emergency, because last week at my last appointment, she mentioned she was intruding my laterals ..

so during the weekend i observed that they were not going in, but the centrals were coming out...so i called them
to be sure..but its ok, i'm on track...

next week i'll try to get my new pictures done in preparation for 2 TAD s for my uppers..
midline shift and pulling them up..

oh well good news
since weekend my lowers extraction gaps are completley losed hip-hip huraaay!


so my gaps are no longer so visible on my lowers... for my lowers i'm having my molars brought to the front of my mouth,
so now the gap is spread between my molars..

i went in today for my new tad's...
i got 2, both on my upper jaw..they will pull my midline to its place..
one is in the back of my mouth far far away cant really feel it and doesnt hurt at all... i can only touch it with my tongue a bit..

the other...very different story.. its high up in my gum, between my first and second molar, where the gum is no longer attached to bone- where it turns away and becomes cheek... i was told that that kind of gum is more sensible and it is... a lot more...it is kind of swolen and hurts if i smile too much...i'm learning to eat without moving my lips so much... i hope it goes away soon... i kept ice on it as instructed... she had to place it there because in the back, my teeth are too packed togather... and i dont want to give up my last wisdom tooth... its the largest and most healthy looking one i have )

absolutely no pain to put in... my cheeks hurt more because of all the pulling ...


other then that i'm well on my way, as these Tad's were supposed to happen in may- april...

update as soon as i can...very difficult to take pics of my tads...too far away in the back... the one up in the cheek hurts if i laugh a lot...and i do... ) or if i try to pull my lip so i can see it...

my cheeks hurt more because of all the pulling, then the place they put my tads....

still cant take pics of my tads
one is too far back and one got up burried in my gum...my gum is like a tunnel of 5-6mm, with the elastic comming out of it..nothing to see.
i went in today for checkup, but nothing segnificant...just new blue ligs..
i'll keep trying to take pics...
meanwhile i got a seringe that i use to clean the "tunnel"...
