Re: January Buddies
Any other January 2011's out there??? Had my records appt tomorrow---starting the insurance nightmare--had to pay privately for the surgery--as they denied it the first go around....but at least I am scheduled, paid and ready for jan 17th in seattle!! When it's all over, I can fight with the insurance co. but until then--I just wait!
Re: January Buddies
My surgery date is scheduled for Wednesday 19th Jan!!! Yikes!!
Good luck with your surgery, we can keep in touch by Facebook if you like? Just message me if you want to

Re: January Buddies
Just bumping this up it's January now----my surgery is still set for Jan 17th--beginning the logistics of how to manage everything with the kids and their activities--that's worse for me than worrying about the actual surgery!!
Sambo-what surgery are you having and where are you located?? Let's keep in touch, I don't believe we are the only January surgeries on this board??

Re: January Buddies
Well, I am down to 6days and counting now!! I can't believe there's only 2 of us having surgery in January!! Maybe the December people can give me some support!! Did my pre-op phone interview with the hospital yesterday. I am really glad to have my kids--they are keeping me so busy I can't worry about myself right now!! I believe it will be their busy schedules that make me get up and go afterwards too--no time to be lazy or feel sorry for myself--I have to be the chauffer and cheerleader to my boys!
Any support or recommendations are appreciated!

Re: January Buddies
I'll jump on board. I'm getting two zygomatic bone plates screwed into my cheeks next week (friday 1/21/11) so I suppose I'll be a january buddy, but no hospital stay, maybe not even general anesthesia. but definitely more recovery than TADs or miniscrews.

Re: January Buddies
I'm having my surgery on the 21st of January. My surgery involves work on both my upper and lower jaws and I am possibly having a genioplasty as well.
Good luck to all of you having surgery this month
