I know it may seem early but is anyone getting their braces off in February? My debrace date is Feb. 21st and I am so happy! 3 years in braces and they are finally coming off! Yay!

I'm supposed to be in this club! I was originally told I would be done around the same time as you (mid-feb) but that was about 16 months ago and I haven't been given a date yet...fingers crossed I'll be a february de-bracer!

I have my fingers crossed for you! It's funny because when I got the debrace day, I was so excited!!! Now all I can think about is what if somthing goes wrong and I can't have them removed then!! Ahhh Lol.

My ortho is awseome and I can't wait till d-day! Here is hoping that we both get our wish of smooth, slimy teeth in Feb!!

I'm in the club!! Haven't been given a set date as of yet but my ortho says we'll set one after my next appt (Feb 3rd) and I'll definitely have them off by the end of Feb!! WOOOOO!

I've been taking pictures of my progress every month so I'll post them once my teeth are out of jail! So excited for our little club!!

Congratulations to all of you guys! I am so excited. I had my retainer molds made today and on February 21st I’ll be out of braces. I am getting the Hawley retainer. I was hoping for the essix but I think that my ortho prefers Hawley. That’s okay though. I am just so thrilled to be out of braces soon!!! Can’t wait to post pics and looking forward to seeing your pics to guys!

I'm scheduled to have mine removed February 8th. I got the news on 1/25 so it will only be two weeks of a wait, but it seems like it's taking forever.

I'm getting an essix retainer top and hawley bottom. I have to wait a week in between removal and getting the retainers. I'm a little worried about the wait, but I trust my Ortho and she assured me if there was any movement it would be slight and the retainers would put everything back in place.

I'm sure there will be some new pain and hurdles with the retainers like speaking and getting use to removing them, but I can't wait to eat without braces.

That is awesome! Feb 8th is just around the corner! So happy for everyone in this club.

I officially have 18 days until it's debrace day for me. Wow! 18 DAYS! (Feb 21st!!)

I am getting a hawley on both top and bottom. At the moment, I do not care that I will have to wear a retainer for a while, I am just so stoked to be getting my braces off finally!

Congrats to all in this club and looking forward to seeing you all on the other side.

I guess I am officially part of this club. I am getting mine off on Feb. 15th. I am a bit hesitant because my midline is just a tad off, but the ortho says since my bite is perfect and my top/bottom midlines are good, that I shouldn't mess with it. I am happy, but I was really hoping for a "perfect " smile.

I have to get a splint with my retainers. Has anyone had one? I am guessing this is because I had major jaw surgery only 7 weeks ago.

Anyway, good luck everyone! I can't wait to see all of your pictures.

Oh I wanted to add that I have had metal in my mouth for 3 years and one month! So I am certainly ready to have naked teeth.

Its my debrace day today!!
My teeth aren't 100% perfect but thats because some of my teeth are funny shapes. I may get bonding later on

3.5 hours to go!

The results are better than I expected

My teeth feel so slimey and look huge tho! I have spelt all day eating previously forbidden foods haha.
I only have to wear a top essix 24/7 for 6 weeks and then just at night. I am very happy

Congratulations Jewles!!!! It must be so exciting. I'm very happy for you and can't wait to see and feel my teeth with no braces.

I'm sure we'll all be grinning from ear to ear. And eating forbidden foods of course!!!

Congrats Jewles!!! So exciting! I can't wait till I have mine removed. Only 17 days to go! (though it seems to be taking forever!)

So what was having them removed like? I am so excited but also slightly nervous. I hope it goes by quickly and the brackets just pop off.
