I'll take pictures of my teeth later today and post them so you can see what's going on. Basically, I was in a motorcycle accident, chipped half my tooth clear off, and noticed that my teeth seemed to be migrating because of the trauma. Well, I got a root canal and a porcelain crown, but when they added the crown, they made a slight, existing gap in my front teeth HUGE. I had always thought I needed braces in the past, but my dentists all said I was fine, it was almost imperceptible. After getting the crown I was so bummed. I wanted the gap fixed ASAP and decided to go the Invisalign route. (Since my teeth are all so small, the dentist advised against getting bigger crowns to avoid the Chiclet Effect.)
Anyway, now I'm wondering what else I wasn't informed about, after going through the threads...the ortho also never told me I would need attachments/"buttons". I hate them and feel like they are so in the way when I eat. Going the Invisalign route was supposed to spare me having crap stuck to my teeth and I had the "buttons" put on from day one, 7 or so in all.
I really hope this turns out well

Thanks for your replies in advance
