Cost: $5,750, my insurance will hopefully pick up $2000 of that, but I just switched jobs and my new job doesn't have ortho included in the dental policy. So i'm going to continue my former policy on Cobra for 18 months so hopefully should get full $2000, but if something goes wrong and the Cobra doesn't go through i'd only get $500 of the insurance company so fingers crossed I get it! My price includes the x-rays, impressions, braces & retainers and a permanent lingual bar on my bottom teeth. I had to do a down payment of $1125 and will be making monthly payments of $175 a month for 15 months (assuming the insurance company picks up the full $2000.
Kind of braces: Ceramic 3M clear Self ligating on top and bottom, back 10 are metal.
