Your teeth look great!!. I have a quick question: how big was your gap and how long did it take to close?.

I have a gap between my 2 front teeth . Its small (2mm). A week ago my ortho put a powerchain on top 6 (canine to canine) in an attempt to closee the gap. And i'm wondering how long it will take because i dont see changes yet.

Yay! You must be so happy!!!

I had a gap. its opened and closed a few times since treatment started as my other teeth have been getting positioned! Will still have a small gap at the front but not a crooked one!

CONGRATS!! your smile looks Fantastic- wow! i also have a 18 month sentence and am 37 yrs old. seems like for ever!!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments...I have no regrets. Now I have to get adjusted to retainers. I have two retainers...the Hawley for night and the clear(Invisalign type) for day. So far, I speak with a lisp. :crazy:


To the person who asked how large my gap WAS(I don't know...but it was large and I had a very deep bite). Each case is different but it did not take long for my gaps to close...it took longer for my bite to change!!!!
