Day 3--constant headaches and bite blocks

Hello everyone! Here I am on day 3 of ceramics upper and lower. Has anyone had headaches as a result of getting braces? I thought that by now it would have gotten better. Advil helps. Any advice also on eating with bite blocks? Doc says I'll have them for 4 months or so. So far I'm eating either all mush/liquid, or just swallowing tiny bits of food whole. What a life! =0) Would love to hear some encouragement. I'm trying not to be a complainer--this is pretty brutal both physically and emotionally so far, though.

Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!! Fortunately my headaches subsided after about a week and now I only get them at every adjustment. Good luck, it will end I promise.

you poor thing :( i have no advice since i have 1 week till i am braced.. but i already suffer migraines so a bit worried about that! i hope they ease off soon for you!

It's getting a bit better, no headache this morning. The insides of my cheeks are still in a bad way, but I'm beginning to have some hope!

Hang in there. My headaches and difficulty eating were pretty much resolved by week 2. I know that sounds long right now, but it does get better.

:cry: I'm sorry about your headaches. There will be a day that your braces don't feel so foreign and intrusive!
