Hi guys. I just wanted a bit of help from fellow people who are using aligners or thinking about getting them. Il cut the story short. I'm 19 and have wanted braves since I was 12 but the dentist always use to say my teeth and brushing was not upto standard for getting braces. So I waited and waited a miserable 6 years without the dentist referring me for braces and by the time I was 18 he asked if I wanted braces. As I'd turned 18 he said I'd have to pay about £2000 for them which I was very annoyed about. After pleading for braces for past 6 years and him saying I wasn't ready and now all of a sudden I could get them but not on the nhs..I decided to leave that dental practice and go to another. Here the dentist listens and gives me the best opinions and treatments. He said I do need braces and can have clearstep. So in November decided I would have my impressions moulds X-rays and pics. Not a nice experience! And now we are in feb and I'm still deciding if I want them! I'm hoping to go and see the dentist as he will have my treatments plan but here are a few questions:
1) if he says I have 18-24 month treatment time when will I see a noticable difference in my front teeth as they are horrible
2) do clearstep have attachments and are the on the front
3) my dentist predicted 18-24 months would it take that long

4) have any of you guys used the coda appliance with clearstep and has it decreased your treatment time. For those of you who don't no clearstep do a few extra appliances eg coda which widens your arch. You wear all the time for 8-10 weeks and it does the work of about 8 aligners!
5) how invisible are they?
6) on your treatment plan do you have just one form of treatment or a few which the patient can choose between.
7) my dentist has said on my bottom teeth il probably get away with extractions and could have ipr have any of you guys had these
Sorry for the huge list of questions. I'm just so nervous and paranoid I need to get my teeth sorted ASAP! Thank you
