Congrats on 11 and 1 weeks, that's great! I was scared before I took the plunge too, particularly with having to have extractions. I'm glad I did though! I can't wait to see some serious movement.

btw, i eventually gave in and bought a waterpik. ordered it from amazon and it arrived on monday. still getting used to it

Hey! Sorry for the delay in updating, I've been really busy lately and haven't got round to processing the pictures! I've done them for you now

Oh, and please tell me how you get on with the Waterpik

(I'll probably see in your thread anyway, and I hope to try and post there again soon!)
Here's my 3 Weeks. I'm not too sure there's much visible progress, especially the uppers; I barely see any difference with them! But I can happily say that I believe my 4 Weeks photos are going to be better! I can see visible difference in the mirror compared to these photos, even one of the upper ones I can see a bit of a gap forming (in fact, the tooth in question might be slightly noticeable in the tops pic; it's the second in on the right). And my teeth are feeling achey today, hehe. Here's hoping the difference will be visible in the photos I take tomorrow.

Be wary of the angle difference, particularly in the upper photo. I managed to take it much further beneath. In fact, the angles in all the photos are different and can be a bit deceiving for showing actual differences. Grr, the difficulty of taking photos of your teeth at these sort of angles!
In other news: one of the wires on the right, for some reason, has decided to start cutting into my cheek really badly. It's quite nasty! I have a big wire shaped dent in my cheek. It's weird because the wire seems to now sit in it, and when I open my mouth there's a bit of resistance in my cheek and then it suddenly pops out — not very nice! I hope it's able to heal up soon. I've tried wax, and it has helped a bit, but keeping it in long enough for it to heal is the difficulty!
Oh, and on occasion I've noticed a couple of ligatures half come off, but I've quite easily (and satisfyingly) put them back on with a hook (it's actually a metal pick thing, similar to what they use in the dentist to scrape your teeth!). It's nice feeling the sudden tightness again when I slip the ligature back around the bracket.
I'll try and update with my 4 Weeks sooner this time! I'm looking forward to the photos. I hope they'll be good!
