How long did you wear your turbos for?

I've only had my braces on a little over a month and while the turbos aren't bothering me as much as they did, they're still annoying. My ortho assistant said that people wear them on average a year! I think that's really really long. I'm also hoping I don't have to wear them that long. Also if you've had turbos, did you ever get them adjusted as well? When I first got them on, my bottom two front teeth would both touch the turbos when I bit down, now only one side does and my bite feels weird.

I had my bite turbos on for 11 weeks. Initially none of my teeth touched, but I could notice a change as more and more teeth started touching after a month or so, which made chewing MUCH easier! Once I got them off, just having regular braces didn't seem so bad!

I've had my braces on for 6 days now and my turbos are very annoying. My ortho hasn't told me how long I need to have them on for. They have given me a slight lisp which i hope will be gone by next week and they hurt my tongue. I really hope that I don't have to wear them for a year :/

I have had mine for the entire time so far. I do not even notice them anymore.
