Thank you everyone who has supported me on this forum-the whole purpose of me posting was to obtain support.

I think (and I hope many of you will agree when I say this) but after overcoming an extreme dental phobia where I was unable to walk past a dental practice without getting in a sweat and feeling sick and unable to stay in a room with someone talking about a dentist or changing channel if there was something dental related on the TV I feel I have come along way to have been able to obtain routine dental treatment (3 years ago, after being unable to visit for 7 years) then even considering braces and the fact that I have booked the appointment and am determained to do something about my teeth I feel says alot.

You are right, I spent too much time and energy responding to the negativity.

That pic is sooooo ME....

I was hungry the other night and went to the kitchen but on entering i noticed a roach by the fridge door...I made an about turn...I decided i wasnt that hungry anymore( I really was starving...did have anything since breakfast)

And i was home alone so i couldn't call anyone to kill it for me......

To each their own...I know if there was a roach on the emergency switch...We would all die if i was the only one who was able to push it....Sad but true..

Im a big baby i know it...I usually call my younger sister(3yrs younger) to kill them 4 me...no shame...

I cannot express how grateful I am for all the support that has been given to me.

This evening I had my last curry pre ceramic braces (don't often eat curry anyway!). I am just so determained to do this for myself!

Really pulling for you. The anticipation anxiety is the worst part of the whole process.
