Am waiting on my refinements and I had my retainer out for the whole day recently because of a family party and fell asleep without putting it back in.
When I woke up the next day you could visibly see the regression in my teeth. One tooth was moving back towards its original position. I was surprised by how quick the change was and getting the retainer back on was tough.
For the people who have completed invisalign have they suffered any regression? Also would a fixed wire behind the teeth be better than using retainers?

Re: tooth movement after finishing
Retainer protocol is going to depend on a number of factors including the amount and type of correction required. Nightly removable retainer wear will generally maintain the position of your teeth. Of course, there is the option of fixed retainers, but this will not hold the movement of the posterior teeth, so if you go with this option, be sure to understand that you will need a removable option also.
