Got braced at 24. ( few days after my birthday infact hehehe)
Started exploring the idea of putting braces when I was 23 but needed a few months to overcome dental phobia...

32yrs, got metal spacers placed yesterday, and I get loads of fun with separator and top braces on the 28th.

I'm 26, and just went to the ortho yesterday for the very first time to find out what treatment would be needed to fix lower front crowding. Option 1 was full braces for 24mths, Option 2 was '6 month braces' upper and lower for 9mths, Option 3 was invisalign for 24mths. But he recommended the 6mths ceramic braces as the most cost effective and best result option, so now weighing up if I should get them soon to be done with them before my 27th b'day.

I was 20 the first time and I will be 40 when I get braces for the second time in my life. My teeth have shifted a lot over the years and I want to get my under bite fixed due to now having TMJ...(not fun)

I have not started this new journey as of yet but will begin in the next 6 six months or so.

48 ... braces go on in three days ... I'd love for them to be off by my 50th birthday (which is 21 months from now).

At 22 years! I have wanted them since I was in middle school and after having a full time job for a while I was finally able to afford them! Feels nice to pay for them myself and I cannot wait to have the smile I have always wanted!

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get mine on before my 26th birthday in a little more than a month! I finally had my final conference with the orthodontist and now I'm just trying to get an appointment for my 4 extractions. I have to wait 2 weeks after the extractions before I can get braced. :(
