Hi Kimmie I love the colors! All this brace lingo is kinda new so, sorry, I can't help with the 1x3 question.
I've only had gray and black as colors for my lig's. I may venture out to more colors... might as well have fun with them since I will have them awhile!

Wow! awesome ligs! All our kids are so boring at work, almost all of them take gray and some very few take pink og blue. You can visit our clinic so I can finally have some fun with these ligs!

I just love playing with colors!! I figured I may as well make the best of this 2-2.5 year journey!!! Plus its my inner kid coming out. I am so surprised the kids only pick the silver. You would think they would be picking all sorts of colors!! Khaymie, I think you would have so much fun playing around with colors. My first color was aqua and is one of my favorite colors so far!!! I think Im going for purple the next time but who knows I may change my mind once I hit the chair!

My ortho commented while I was there tuesday, that I was one of the fun adults who likes to play with colors. They obviously like to see adults enjoy their braces as much as the kids do.
I personally can't see myself with any subdued gray or silver, I'm a color girl

Hi Everyone

I thought I would come by to give a quick update. There has been some movement with my teeth. First my two front teeth are touching my bottoms and every time I chew I feel like I am going to chip a tooth or something. I guess that let me know my bite is changing also. My two front teeth have NEVER touched the bottom teeth. Also the gap that appeared over night about a month ago is getting BIGGER!!!! The next big movement is both my canines are loose on the bottom and are moving around all over the place. It feels so weird that I am like a big kid and keep playing with the loose teeth!! Is it just me or does anyone else find themselves playing with their loose teeth? Well that is my little quick update on my teeth. The other good news is I had pizza for the first time since my teeth were put in jail! I had to cut it up in small pieces and it was so hard not to eat the crunchy crust but I was not about to break a wire or bracket either. The cheese got everywhere so I won't be eating it for awhile bc it was a very messy clean up making sure I got the cheese off all teeth and from around brackets! I hope everyone else is doing great!!! I have my next appointment on Oct. 16th and already know my colors. Until next time I hope everyone is doing great and be safe.

I do . Once I realise a tooth is loose I'll find myself doing it while watching TV or on the computer and have to stop myself.

Kimmie!! It sounds like you're teeth are progressing well!! My bite is changing too but I don't seem to be getting teeth as loose as yours sound (probably because I need my extractions to create some more room!)

Hooray for pizza!!!!!!!! I hope it tasted AMAZING!! YUM!

Looking forward to seeing your colours in 8 days (or so)!!! Then it's time for my first lot of extractions on 22nd

They are coming along pretty well!! I am excited. Are you getting nervous about your extractions? The pizza was delicious but a mess to clean up being I ate it at work and didn't have my Waterpik to blast things away. I had one of my favorite ice creams today (Butter Pecan) but didn't enjoy it much because I couldn't eat and crunch down on the pecans!!! Guess I will have to save that for when these teeth of my are released from the prison system! Until then it's just plain ice cream!!!

I'm getting a gap between my front teeth now too! And like you, it just appeared out of nowhere and I got a huge shock! Crazy what can happen in the hours when you're asleep isn't it!???!!!

It's a week until my first lot of extractions!!!! If they go bad...I can't imagine how difficult it will be to submit myself to the second lot! I originally intended on getting the four out at once but my dentist doesn't want to do that unless I get sedated...nevermind!! And yes I'm slightly nervous but almost excited by the fact that once they are done I no longer have to worry about getting them done anymore! The threat has been around since I started treatment so it will be nice to attend my adjustments in the future without the thought of "will he ask to have them out now????! )

You are now my gap twin. Isn't it scary waking up to something that was not there like 6 hours ago. I hope that all your extractions go well. I am still debating on what colors to get. I don't think I will go with the Halloween colors because I know all the kids will have those and wouldn't want to take up all those orange and black ligs from the kids. I will try to post pics right after my appointment because I leave for vacation that same day. I will also have to post what this 1 by 3 is they are talking about doing on my lower arch. Must be pretty painful since they are warning me to take pain meds before my appointment!!! Hopefully it will not be as bad as the first day. Well until Tuesday I think that's all my updating!

Hi Everyone
Sorry took so long to update but after my appointment on Tuesday I left for vacation. I am currently updating from my phone and can't upload the pics to image shack so I will upload them later. Well to begin my appointment went well. My top wire stayed at a 018 and the lower arch went to a 17 X 22 wire in which he twisted into some weird shape. All I know is my bottom teeth are on a move. They are in PAIN similar to the first day I got braces. I am back on a soft food diet and my back molars hurt so much especially when they touch. My back molars on the lower arch are doing some serious moving because there is lots of space back there now. I learned this when I flossed and it slipped right between my molars. I was thinking something has to be happening with all this pain. Also my front teeth on the top and bottom don't touch anymore. I discovered that at the airport while waiting on my plane. Its amazing how fast they move!! My bite is way off that even if I could chew I don't think I could. Well my next appointment is Nov 6. I hope everyone is doing well. Since it may be a couple days before I post pics my ligs this time are lime green and dark purple alternating!!!

I'm having my first lot of extractions done in the morning so that should have me back to the baby food!! I'll try to post photos later in the week.
