ok so been for my adjustment today

and whilst i didn't ask "how much longer already"

i asked how many more wire changes i will need! So, for the bottoms the next wire will be the final wire and for the tops i have two more changes so given my changes are 8weeks apart then i reckon i have quite a while to go yet, maybes another 5 or 6 months !

Anyways, i have a power chain on the bottom to close the gaps and elastics aswell so am starting to feel it lol.

Time for some more painkillers

Sounds exciting!! at least you have a general idea. I'm really not sure what I might have in store for me tomorrow but I'm ready to have these springs gone for sure!!

So another month passes lol.. some pixs for you all

Check out the staining on that powerchain lol, didn't realise it would stain but not really worried. It's really done it's job in closing up the bottom fronts. The elastics are working well on the left to open up a gap to the left of my left front tooth. A bit worried that the same doesn't seem to be happening on the other side as quickly though

. I need the gaps to enable the rotation of the teeth that are between the front teeth and the canines.

Now that i have set a date to go back to work in january following my maternity leave i'm less worried about going back with braces on! I'm facing the fact that i will be going back with braces on but my teeth are more or less straight and with a little lip gloss on they don't look too bad at all in my opinion

Wow check out that stained powerchain lol

So this is 5 days short of a year now!! The final wire is on the bottom with hopefully the final wire going on top at the next adjustment in 3wks time.

I don't know exactly what caused the staining, probably curry or spice of sort. When i look in the bathroom mirror it doesn't look too bad but in the daylight OMG it's illuminous green.. gross! I've been contemplating phoning the ortho to get it changes as i start a new job next week but then it's only another 3wks til my adjustment!
