Getting it complete by 30 was one of my motivators to actually get it done as well. Good luck with it.

Hi everyone,

Here is a pic from my last adjustment on Oct. 16. I am due for another adjustment on Nov. 6th. I was out of town so that is why it took so long to post a pic. I went with purple and green ligs!! Enjoy!

Whenever I check your blog you always have an upcoming adjustment lol. How often are your appointments? I wish mine were closer together, I get tired of my colours pretty quickly. Loving the colours... Any idea what your next ones might be? And how are the teeth doing?

Hey Gilly!

My appointments are usually 3 weeks apart. I think I may be the only one on here whose appointments are so close together. The teeth are doing great. The pain is gone and I am back to normal eating. My gaps don't seem to be closing yet but I know it will probably take power chains for that. I was comparing pics yesterday from the day I got my braces until now and my overbite has been corrected some. One of my friends even noticed it and pointed it out. Well for my adjustment next week I am thinking of royal blue on both arches. I haven't done single colors in awhile. Maybe I will be surprised next Tuesday and will not have to go for 5 weeks instead of 3 weeks!!!

Hi Kimmie,
Wow I can't imagine going in that often, the soonest I have gone is 4 weeks usually 6 weeks. (wonder if that will shorten your treatment time?) Anyhoo your smile is lookin great!! Love the green/purple combo. I'm not quite that brave to go that bright yet  maybe next time.

I'm usually 4 weeks-last appointment was nearly 5 as he was on holiday.

I was also told at my latest adjustment on Monday if I don't see any real difference with the powerchains in a couple of weeks to go ahead of my appointment for upgraded powerchains to bring my canines towards the front (closing space from my diastema).

Kimmie! You have to go with royal blue ligs :) I just posted on my page suggesting for you to try them and then I came on here and saw that you already had them in mind!! LOL! 'great minds think alike' :)

The purple and green look great together! You seem to really have an eye for colour!

My appointments are usually 6-8 weeks apart. I guess the orthos all have their own ways of doing things. But it also seems that when I finally have my appointment they do a whole heap of things at once instead of a little bit here and a little bit there? I guess it all works out in the end!!

Hope your appointment goes well in a couple of days!

@CC. I love playing with colors. It brings out the kid in me. I think I just might go with all royal blue this time since I have not done single colors in awhile!! I also have to get my license so I must show my new colors off in that photo so 5 years from now when I can look at the pics and say that was me in the process on getting my teeth straight.

3 weeks, eh?! thats pretty cool, because even if you aren't always getting new wires your ligs get replaced which is tightening them. Pretty sweet, in my opinion.

Hope things are well!

Hello All,

I had an adjustment today and everything went well! I got a new wire on top (17 by 22) which is now the same as my wire on the bottom! I am now in some pain on the top, but nothing too bad that some ibprofen can't handle. My bite now is also feeling all off. I am trying to hurry and eat before the pain gets to bad or I won't be able to chew properly. My next appointment is on Dec. 4 in which he said he will start pulling by teeth on the bottom arch backwards (he said they look ready). I was in a daze for a moment and forgot to ask him how he was planning to do that. So if anyone has a clue of how that will take place please let me know. I was thinking elastics or powerchains, but could be wrong. Well, pics are below so you can see the colors I chose!!!! It was so funny because when I chose my color they orthodonist and his assistants were like are you sure you are not doing more than one color today!! Hope everyone have a nice day!!!!!

Glad to hear your appointment went well:) The blue ligs look really nice, a lot more subtle than usual for you, but they look great... My guess is as good as yours--I would think either elastics or powerchains, but my gut tells me powerchains. I hope you don't experience too much pain and your arches are rounding out beautifully

Thanks Gilly!!! The ortho and his assistant that does the ligs thought something was wrong when I just decided on one color!!! I guess I shall see in about a month what he meant by pulling these teeth back, but Im leaning towards powerchains also Gilly. I can't wait to find out.

Hey CC!
The pain is starting to calm down! I am so excited about that. I can not wait until Dec 4th either so I can see what is going to happen. I know it will probably not be new wires as they both will only be a month old but you never know. From now on I know not to be in a daze when the ortho says something like that. I am glad I will be able to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in peace without just having an adjustment done!!!
