Good question! I've only had mine for three days. I'll be excited to see what they do, and how fast.
Your progress is great, and has me excited! I have giant gaps between my canines and lateral incisors - I've suspected they've been waiting to close them until they were ready to crank the overjet back. I hope my results fast and noticeable, like yours.

Were yours hooked to your canines? Mine are, and it's just occurred to me that my giant gaps are in FRONT of where the bands are placed. Of course, I also have a powerchain all the way across too. I wonder how this will work for me.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah they are hooked onto my upper canines and the bottom molars. I thought they would just push all the top teeth back, but it's mostly moving the canine teeth. I'm guessing the rest of the teeth take longer as they're not being directly pulled? The power chain should fix that gap, and the elastics help with the overjet
At first for about 1.5 Months I was on Parrot thin ones only at night starting the first day I got my braces on. Then went to Quails full time for a while like maybe 6 months. Then went to Zebra's full time till the last time I went (Jan 10) I am not on some of the thickest ones: Moose Full time.
I'd for me to it took a while to see probs because I was staring at it like 24/7 LOL But NOW I see and feel a major difference and your teeth lookin better.
I was in Zebra elastics for about 2 months and my overjet is virtually gone. Right now, I'm not wearing elastics but I'm sure, I'll have to start wearing them again at some point.
I've been in mine (rabbits then zebras) for about 6 weeks. I have different configurations on each side. On the right it's a short class 2 like you have Angel, but on the left it's a box pattern to close an open bite on the side. I can't speak for whether the class 2 side is working, I assume so. But the box side is definitely closing. I can now meet my canines together on that side. Funny thing, when I don't wear the elastics for like 2 hours, they don't meet anymore, but almost as soon as I put them back in now, they meet up. I suspect I'll be wearing these for some time.
Angel21, they're all different at each orthodontist the companies they use for their elastics. Some offices only give out fluorescent ones. And some offices have countries, guy names but in reality it all goes by the oz. The names are just there to make is easier to say.
Had the crossbite ones on both sides FOREVER it seems, definitely at least 9 months before my orthodox switched to closing the extraction gaps with elastics. Had those babies on and saw movement right away but I don't think I get to stop using elastics anytime soon, cus my midlines are way off -_-;;
Has anyone's elasticity really irritated their mouth? Mine are eating up my cheek. I have zebras and tend to only wear them at night. Even then, in the morning, I have to take it out quick as its almost "imbedded" in the ridge it made in my cheek. The only thing I can think is I have sensitive skin or sensitivity to the latex... Frustrating none the less. Wish I could cover it with wax!
Lirvnrn, your cheeks are still getting used to everything. I had had the braces for awhile when I got elastics, and they bothered my cheeks a little at first, but nothing I couldn't live with. I know what you mean about the creases in the morning. I get those too, but they aren't painful at all. I must have leather cheeks now, because nothing hurts them. If I do get a sore, like from a pokey wire (have one in the back right now, the pokey wire), I can feel it and all, but there's no pain.

I'm so jealous. 1.5 months and no change...how is that right?

The elastics still suck. I don't wear them 24/7 as I should. That side of my tongue is all eaten up almost. I should take a pic. Can't be normal. The cheek soreness is getting better. I can eat more normal things and starting to be able to bite more stuff.
I keep watching this one tooth that is supposed to turn and it seems like its getting worse. Thinking of calling the ortho. Wish I could have them adjusted like every 2 wks to get this moved along. I can't remember what it's like to not have so etching artificial in my mouth. Went for 2wks at Xmas between tx but that's it for 2yrs now...
