I got my braces 4 months ago, and I was 33 (now 34 just had a birthday in Nov.) I wanted braces in my early 20's but the orthodontist I went to said he would not do braces until I had jaw surgery first. This was very discouraging and I never went back.
My current ortho, said he was going to do all he can with braces first, and then we would discuss the jaw surgery.

I just got them Friday (11/30) at age 34. I've wanted them ever since I was a teenager, but always assumed they were too expensive. They are expensive, but I saved enough for a down payment, and finally did it! My mouth is pretty sore, but I'm happy. =]

I was 25, now I'm 27.
Hopefully I'll be debraced before 30 :x

30. I wish I could have had it done in my teens, but I'm thankful to be doing it now. Of course it's only day two... I might regret saying that :)

Im 24 and I got my braces on the 26th on November. I have Damon Q Metal on top and bottom because my ortho said that the clears work slower and I want these bad boys to be over and done with.

28 and 6 months as my chart so kindly indicates the months.

I think I wanted them as a teen and was told by other teens at the time I did. I could not afford or get the treatment so I would actually lie and make up reasons I couldn't get them yet, like I hadn't lost my baby teeth and silly things like that.

It took a few years to get healthy teeth and gums so now it's time to get them straight!

34...I did the right thing by my son and made sure he had his in his teens, in fact his should be coming off in the next 6 months!

Had them as a ten year old.... Just had them put on again at 26. The joys!

I get my braces on the 17th, I'm 27 :) I'm told it'll be roughly 2 years in them, ceramics too :)

I got my braces last Thursday (January 3) and I am 39. This is actually my second go round as I had them when I was a kid.

I finally made the jump at the prime age of 31. I am currently enrolled full time in college (returned after leaving the company I worked for) and should be done with treatment prior to graduation!

31 w braces in college. Bet u look about 22?
Braces on: 2/25/2013. Braces Off: 12/23/2015
Current Retainers: Hawley Top, Essix Bottom, and Permanent Lingual Bottom
