Sharp Shooting Nerve Pains :(

#1 Post by Bikerchick85 »

I remember these all too well when I had braces the last time at 21! If I drink or bite into anything cold it sends me through the roof! I am going to start Sensodyne ASAP!! Anyone else experience this? Last time I had braces it was my rotated canine that was super sensitive! This time it's my front teeth! The pain shoots all the way up my nose it feels!!! UGH! :( The pain we go through with these torture devices!!

I just had my first dose of this pain yesterday...and also today. It was on two of my incisors. I almost screamed from the pain and probably from the shock. It took quite a few seconds for it to calm down. I was very surprised!! Sensodyne to the rescue!!

I get it on and off too, but I have certain teeth that feel that bad even when I'm not in braces. Sucks a lot though :(

It really does suck!! :( I bought the Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief this time. They were out of the Sensodyne Pro-Namel which is the one I always used before! Hopefully it works as well and QUICKLY!!

This is happening to me now but its only one one side. I can't chew on that side; it hurts to brush/floss that side. Its got my right ear aching too. This didn't start until I got larger wires on upper and lowers on 1/28/13 and I'm still in pain from this adjustment. The other adjustments hurt but dog not like this time.

I have this too!! Extreme pain on the entire upper right side. I can't chew anything and can only drink warm water, not even room temp water! Honestly, it is sore all of the time. Do you think the Pro-Relief toothpaste works better than Sensodyne? I have been using Sensodyne and can't really say if its helped because it is so painful. Looking for some kind of relief!

I am happy with the Colgate Pro Relief. I also had good luck with the sensodyne before but they were out when I went to buy it. It takes a couple weeks for it to start working like all the others. But the Colgate is helping! Those pains are the worst! Mine hurts on the upper right side too. I have a rotated canine beside the front teeth that are bothering me. It's all worth the pain! :)
