Preparing to get Braces! - almost 30.

Hahaha, I was just talking about this with my daughter the other day! Mine's up for renewal in September and I'm still going to be a brace face too!! I think I'll smile like always, but only renew for a year instead of the 5 I usually do (or 3 or however long it is). Bit of a pain to have to get it re-done in a year and I know it sounds really vain but I don't want a licence with braces for 4 years after I get them off

Why don't you just smile with your mouth closed or not smile at all in the picture? You'll save yourself money and not waste your time at the MVA. I recently renewed my license. My picture on the previous one must have been ten years old. They let us renew by mail for a time, then make us come in to take a new picture.

ok so I tried to see what I would look like with no teeth showing and smiling with my mouth closed and I look like a complete moron.

Looks like its braces in my liscense pic, oh well.

I am in a bad mood today, I just want this day over so I can go away for the weekend with my boyfriend. I am so tired of doing everything at work and no one giving me recognition for it.

and I am also tired of these extraction holes as I am so sick of getting food in them and not being able to eat properly because of them!

The extraction holes will be closed up soon enough! And you can smile with teeth showing! No biggie! Or just smile very faintly, not a hug smile. That's what I did because I too looked like a moron with a big no teeth smile. Lol
Just think if how great your teeth will look and when you get to take a new picture how big you will smile!
I hope your day gets better, and have an amazing birthday if I don't talk to you til then. And remember, you are very appreciated! Weather it's your boss or colleagues they couldn't do their job without you! Just keep a smile in your face!

hi kids!

nothing much new to report in the braces department! adjustment is about 2.5 weeks away! I am really hoping my teeth get less painful by then but don't really see that happening... still cannot bite into anything.. it is getting beyond the joke now

on a happier note, went away with the boyfriend and had a nice relaxing time the weather was nice and we went for a walk to the mineral springs, 40 min later we find out that they had been flooded out some time ago and it was under construction! could of told us before we set off walking lol, oh well, it was nice anyway through the forest

We went out for lunch on the saturday and we sat in a pub and i looked at the menu and saw a burger and was like YUMMMMMMMM but i couldn't eat a burger with a knife and fork and I certainly couldn't pick at it with my hands so then I thought stuff this, and my boyfriend suggested pies and sausage rolls to take back to the cabin, so we did that! and they were yummmmmmmmmmm!! hehe

I ate so much junk potato chips (JUST! no front teeth lol) pizza... and wine.. lol oh well, it was a nice weekend.

O M G... i am 30 tomorrow... I am actually freaking out that I bought anti wrinkle cream today LOL. seriously...

hopefully my party will go well on the weekend! I am starting to look forward to it as I have a dress to wear now! yay!

well i better get dinner started, salmon (yep...again...) lol and vegies cos I need them! haven't had vegies in about 4 nights now.. oh dear! lol.

Glad you had a good weekend away It's so frustrating when you go on a walk and the "closed" sign is right at the end of the walk!! It's like they're trying to trick you into exercising or something

And haha, I was SO depressed about my 30th. Then it came and went and I was all "meh, that wasn't as bad as I thought". I'll be 35 this year and now 40 seems WAY too close

Man... WHYYYY do my top front teeth have to be sore today.. they feel REALLY WEIRD.. like not the pain I have felt before! I think it must be that “clicky” feeling you guys talk about. It is the top left tooth and the tooth next to it (they have crowding and the tooth next to the front big tooth sits behind the front big tooth) it is slowly moving out from behind it which I guess is why I feel pressure on the front top tooth, it must be trying to move back or something but there is a weird feeling, i feel they are both pushing on eachother like one is trying to move forward and one is moving back! NOT FUN

Apart from that, I hope I have a good day. I am having family over for pizza tonight (like i need MORE) and then having a big party on Saturday!! I am excited for the weekend!!

Teeth will always be sore when it is most inconvenient

And I know the pain that accompanies that clicky feeling. Sort of pressure, but more like a dull ache. Sometimes I spend days feeling like something is stuck in between my teeth causing a problem but there's nothing there when I floss. I hope the neurofen kicks in for tonight! I think I need to go and have some myself today, ack!
