What are you thinking about right now?

#1 Post by SunshineRay »

I get braces in 8 days.
I should probably get a waterpik before then.
These extraction holes are making it a pain to eat while I should be eating my last meals.

Oh and I'm bored at work.

Actually nothing about braces, but in the interest of maintaining a family-friendly forum I am pleading the 5th amendment (Right to not to incriminate one's self for non-US readers).

I am thinking of my summer and how lucky I am. One of my best friends and her husband are driving from Ohio to Az to visit us first week of July. My brother is buying me airline tickets so I can fly home the end of July to Ohio for my brother in laws retirement party. I have 2 sons that live in Ohio..so this is an unexpected visit. Before I leave on vacation ....I should be scheduled to get my braces when I get back!!! No wonder why head is beginning to hurt...it is over filled with thoughts at this moment!! I just stopped in the orthodontic's office to drop off a letter from my family doctor. I have been to this office....ONE time....I walked in and they knew my name! I thought that said alot of this orthodontist that I chose! :jump: :jump: :jump:
One more thing....where is everyone getting these "tickerfactory" counters on here ? I would be very interested in giving it a try!!

Jeni, I'm excited just reading your post. Sounds like a busy summer.

I just barely left the office of a specialty doc I love. Right now, I'm really bummed out about the changes in the health care system. This doc had a small personal practice (for well over a decade) and has now joined a large local health conglomerate and will be moving into their big impersonal offices further across town that I really really hate visiting. I know he is doing it because of the changing health care regulations. It took me forever to find such a wonderful specialist who was accessible to his patients. Now, I know that will change. To make things worse, this is an doc's office that I have to visit every week for allergy and asthma shots. With the changes, it will be harder to coordinate my work schedule to get there too.

He was one of the only remaining specialists I could get into within a couple days when I'm sick. With the others I see, the wait can be up to 5 months.

What a way to end a day.

I've been thinking about my best friend who is like the main character in an up and coming full length movie-documentary-(produced by someone we all know...). There's not much on the internet about how to handle a best friend situation when one of them starts to get a little "famous". It's weird--like she's even got fans and stalkers! We've been friends for like 28yrs and I really don't want to lose that.....mwaahhhhh.....

And I'm thinking about how fat I'm getting!!

My vet just sent me the most gigantic bunch of flowers (my cat died a couple of weeks ago) and I'm thinking about how much I miss him (and how much I'm going to miss her now that we have no more kitties in the house!)

Im sorry! :( I hope he still keeps the same type of business even though hes joining the larger offices. Healthcare sucks sometimes!
