Hey all. I'm doing very well. Can't believe next month will be a year already.

Updates from my last appointment on Friday 03 May 2013.
Went back to the color grey bcuz I had a lot of office meetings planned...I think it is the most professional color.

Got another appointment on June 04th I Think.

I am looking forward to elastics though.
I mean i hear and see people with them (who've only just started treatment)
And June will make 1year in braces and i have yet to have any discussion with my ortho about getting elastics.

I havent even gotten a new wire in ages. Basically he's been putting bends in this rectangle wire for maybe the last 4 appointments.
I've even had an appointment where he just changed the ligs...........Sighs....

I mean before i could tell things were moving bcuz of the amount of noticeable change was taking place.
But now. I dont know if i am on schedule or if things are slowing down or nothing....

Sry i just needed to vent a lil

Frustrating. I hear you are saying. I've been in my braces now for more than six months and have only seen minimal changes. I'm starting to wonder if I'm ever going to see anything happening!

This is my 2nd round of braces. First treatment ended about 2001 and I almost never wore my retainer. Yeah, won't happy this time

It's easy to get caught up in the BIG changes and to be so excited that things are happening, but just try to remember that even if you can't *see* things happening, they are. And, that everyone's treatment is different. Last time for me, molar bands were a "must". This time I just have 2 molars banded and brackets everywhere else. I never needed elastics last time and it hasn't come up this time.

It's easy to say and hard to do but hang in there!

And, there is definitely NO harm in asking questions! Your treatment, your money, ask away!

So my last apt was supposed to be on d 4th June. But it was put off cuz my ortho was out of the country.

So it was reschedule to the 18th June. Here are the pics. Went back to light pink ligs.

He is finally closing up my front upper teeth. There was spaces after he closed d diastema on either side of my front four teeth. I see he put ligs to close it up and it's almost touching already after today being the third day in them.
