What is bonding ? How much are they?

The word "bonding" can mean a lot of things in dentistry/orthodontics. What is the context?

I know I'm vague but i was asking because a I heard someone mention how they got braces and bonding to make their teeth look straighter in a short amount of time .

Bonding, as you are referring to it, is dental resin shaped into however a dentist sculpts it. (Veneers are porcelain.) It can be used as part of "instant orthodontics" to reshape teeth, repairs for chipped teeth. It's most common use is as an alternative to amalgam fillings.

Costs will vary wildly. And it will be suitable for some restorations, not others.
