As far as I can tell i have to have the flashlight on them for a good bit of time to charge them up good. I haven't been able to get a picture of them actually glowing in the dark. :Questions:
They look awesome and HAHAHA, cracked me up the idea of you torchbaking the living daylights out of them (the husband wanted to know what was so funny!).

Yay! So happy you have your bottoms on

Hey Sunshiney Ray,
Trust me when I tell you that having braces is not so bad. I was having TONS of anxiety before I got my braces on. I was having anxiety attacks that were literally waking me up 2 or 3 times a night. For a few months. It was just awful. It took me about 4 months to get used to my braces -- mostly all the changes with the brushing and the flossing and trying to not feel so embarrassed when out in public. But eventually, everything fell into place. You'll be just fine. No worries. :-#)

It may take me a while to figure out how to get the glow in the dark to show up in a photo :)

Yay for teal ligs!!!!

My next adjustment is July 30th- my son's birthday :) I might go for the peach glow in the darks next time- or maybe some other wild combination. Totally going to do a rainbow before I finish!

OK day 3 post bottom brackets- even with lots of wax the places where the bottom hooks rub are awful- that is worse than any tooth pain, which I am happy to report, I have hardly any discomfort on that front. Hopefully they will move fast and at least get the hooks in a position that is quite so irritating.

I only have the wax of for short periods- usually while I am eating (learned the hard way that one should probably remove wax prior to eating unless they want to eat the wax too).

I am sure it will pass in a couple of days- thank goodness for orabase, oragel and all the other mouth sore numbing agents on the market!!

I always forget I have wax on when I eat. I'm sure I've eaten at least 2 containers full of it  Hope the rubbing stops soon! I have an empathetic almighty ulcer on the bottom left hand side today

Tobi- Wow my worst ulcer is on the lower left! they are getting a bit better- I think if I keep wax on them the sores will be cone in a couple of days.

Glad they're getting a bit better! I get way more ulcers on the bottom than I do on the top. Not sure if it's because the brackets are different or if it's just a coincidence. I got a new metal bracket put on to replace the chipped one today so things are feeling better for me too :)

Home from my much needed vacation! I had a great time and ate a lot of really great food. Did have a couple of times where I thought that maybe I should have ordered something different due to braces.
( the coconut, chocolate chip, almond ice cream was high on that list along with the pecan encrusted grouper) I spent a long time picking pecans out of my braces one night. Guess I will think harder when ordering at a restaurant– probably not :)

Mostly uneventful week other than I thought I packed wax, lots of wax—On daya 2 of vacation I needed said wax and much to my surprise i found out that I only had 1 container with only 2 little pieces left in it. The inside of my mouth was really sore, (bottom brackets had been on for 5 days, just enough time to rub me raw) so I had to go on a search for wax- evidently there aren't many people in the area we were vacationing that wear braces since I had a heck of a hard time finding any- I finally found some with the mint flavoring (YUK) but hey beggars can't be choosers.

Other than that it was a fabulous vacation. now time to get caught up with the boards and see what everyone has been up to while I was away :)
