Yes, you're right. It's very obvious when you look at the pictures like that. Yay!!

Thanks so much ladies! It's so exciting!

I am just really loving braces. I've wanted them forever, I get to do it with someone I love, they look cool, they feel cool, and they're actually working!!! I am so SO glad I'm doing this.

In other news my FI will be home in 9 days!!!!!!

We have another appt mid August. I'm definitely going back to a color. The silver was fun for a bit, but now it just seems so blasé. I want a bright color again, and to just rock it with pride! The kids I work with keep asking me to do rainbow, and I told them I'd do it once somewhere on this road, probably towards the end.

I hope everyone is on the move and doing great!

*hugs*

Hi Ellabelle,
You have THE most amazing attitude. I'm glad to know all is going so well for you and that FI will be back home soon. Enjoy your time with him. He won't have to be deployed again, will he? I hope no.
xoxo

Thanks Dee! And yes, deployment is a yearly thing for him. But so far it has only been 6-10 weeks at a spell, so I'm very grateful for that. I know many families have endured far, FAR longer TDYs. And he's been going to relatively safe places. So we're in fact very lucky.

And thanks Tobilei! Yay indeed!! A week from today!!!

Also, we've been braced for 200 days today!

Hi Ellabelle,
So glad to hear that his deployments have been relatively short and that he's only been going to safe-r places. Must take a world of worry away from your mind and heart. Enjoy your reunion. I'll be thinking of the three of you next week. Xoxo

Looking good, Ellabelle! I just caught up with your story and think it's so great that you two are on this journey together!

My journey begins on 08/28 and while I will be going it alone, I feel some sense of solace in that I have all of you to share it with, commiserate with, and celebrate with. :-88

Progress on my upper arch from mid-Feb to today.

And thanks, Paisley! One week to go for you, how exciting!! Yes, this board has been hugely helpful and comforting to me too, especially leading up to my bracing. Welcome to the club!
