Re: Sunshiney Saga
I'm back from the beach! Nothing really new to report. I need to start practicing smiling....lol I have a weekend long bachelorette party this friday and then the wedding is in 20 days. I feel like I still look goofy.

Re: Sunshiney Saga
Hope you enjoyed your time at the beach And I don't know that the goofy smiling feeling ever goes away completely. You always have to either hide your braces with your lips or stretch them right around the edges so you generally end up with a really huge smile. I feel like I smile funny now too, although nobody else has noticed so I think it's one of those things that it's just us who notice
Re: Sunshiney Saga
I have noticed that most people don't see your braces which I fine rather strange because they feel like they stick way out. I'm just now starting to smile in pictures because I've seen my face when I don't smile and I think it looks way worse than showing my braces .

Re: Sunshiney Saga
Im still not good with the pics and think my teeth look whiter and straighter in person but thought I would update. The 5 week photo was snapped at my desk without looking in a mirror. Notice how much straighter the wire is now then in the beginning. If I keep my bottom lip closed when I smile you cant even tell I have an overjet at all.

Re: Sunshiney Saga
Looking good, Sunshine! The wire is definitely much straighter... I think that's a huge difference in just 5 weeks. Tell your teeth to keep up the good work

Re: Sunshiney Saga
Nice, I see a difference very exciting. I didn't see braces on your bottom teeth is he waiting to do them later? or don't you need them? I've had a heat sensitive wire on top for a couple of weeks now it adjusts by it self from the heat of my mouth. It works for 8 weeks then I get it replace with another but he hasn't started on my bottom ones yet he says he wants to wait a few months I trust what he's doing but wonder if that's common for them to do.

I can't believe you're going to have a 2nd adjustment before I even have my 1st lol
Glad to hear they're not bothering you for the most part though

Re: Sunshiney Saga
2nd adjustment was fine and the time was wonderful. I was in and out and noone was in the waiting room so it relieved my anxiety.
Here's a top view of how things have rounded out. I am very happy with the progress at only 2 months. Everythings moving back all together so there hasnt been any spacing etc.

Thanks! I'm happy with it. My extraction holes are still open.....which is where the pic stops. I guess as they close up everything will just keep moving back.

Re: Sunshiney Saga
I have lots of spaces in between my teeth now, especially on one side. My extraction hole is almost closed on the left but not much movement on the right side. Odd! I have 3 weeks until my next adjustment....they were going fast but this one feels like its been awhile since I was there.
Still no pain, which I am very thankful for.
We remodeled our bathroom so it was unsusable for awhile. I have been very bad about using the waterpik since then. I fell out of the habit!
