All in all, it was not bad at all!! Spent 1 hr in my regular dentist office. He did some cosmetic touches... He said it will help when the teeth start to line up. My orthodontist told me he appreciates when the dentist does that first.
Off to the orthodontist...After a final consultation..and sign more formal papers about my medication...it was time to get started. It took almost 2 hours. I have to say, part of it was a bit uncomfortable..but nothing that I was surprised at. I did have to laugh when he was talking about the colors...since I have clear on top..they use clear ligs. I asked if they had "smoke" color because the clear will stain".....he looked at me and said....."you have researched this!" I had to confess that I had the best forum for answers and suggestions!! So I ended up with pearl on top...(smoke was not in their list) and light pink on the bottom.
Oh, they did add two "buildups" maybe is the name for them, on 2 of my bottom teeth. So I cannot close my bite. It doesn't hurt..but sure feels weird! I was told they will wear down in town....I can only hope!
After numerous road blocks on my way home..I finally made it. I was SO hungry. Nothing hurt..so I thought..no problem yet...lets eat!
WRONG!!! That pudding and yogurt are sounding better and better all the time!!Thanks everyone..and I am SO happy to be really part of this now!!!
