Have I lost my mind?

I did have a countdown. All in my head. I was very excited. taking alot of before snaps.

everyday i was like "10 days left, 9 days left, 5 days left, omg only 2 days left"

I did an hourly countdown the day before my braces. I could hardly sleep it was like christmas eve. i woke up extra early that morning and was smiling in my mind on the way there on the train.

Another member of the lost my mind club here. It is now 15 days to brace-day for me and I am really excited. Having been through several orthodontists and some conflicting advice to get here has made me more determined than ever to get my teeth fixed.

So nice that there is a whole bunch of us all starting at around the same time

I was really excited to get mine on too - excited to be finally getting a long-awaited process started. It didn't even matter to me that I was looking at one or more surgeries and at least two years in wires & brackets.

I was finally going to be able to have functional teeth and a more beautiful smile to boot! Good luck with your treatment!

Did I mention it is now 25 days til my big day?:) I can hardly stand it..amyone else getting braced end of september?..yahoo!

I have 28 days to go! WAHOO! 2 weeks from today I get my spacers in & I know they will hurt but I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! YIPPEE!!!!!!!

I never had a countdown.... simply because I never knew the exact date I was getting braced! Through the whole process, my ortho has been very vague about what was going to happen when, and even when I asked questions, I wasn't told exactly when I'd get my braces.

The morning I got them, I just expected to get my lingual arch placed and fitted for other stuff, but I was out of the office within 1.5 hours with a new metal mouth.

I am super excited to get mine on, October 19th I go for my records appointment,October 24th I get bands placed, and October 26th I get a palate expander (top) I'm so antsy and cannot wait!
